Jewish historian Flavius Josephus refrences Jesus

Here is a historian who didn't believe in Jesus but still referenced him twice in his writings. Book 18 Chapter 3 3. Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day. Book 20 Chapter 9 1. AND now Caesar, upon hearing the death of Festus, sent Albinus into Judea, as procurator. But the king deprived Joseph of the high priesthood, and bestowed the succession to that dignity on

Crucifixion Evidence

In 1968, a Jewish cemetery was discovered with the remains of a nail going through a heel bone.  The nail was bent over the spiked end to hold the foot in place during a crucifixion. There was remnants of a piece of wood found at the end of the nail.  In 2007, a body buried about 2,000 years ago is believed to have died by crucifixion.  The skeletal remains of his heel show that he was nailed to a cross. These discovery provides evidence that crucifixions really took back in Roman times during Jesus's life. It also corroborates the story of Jesus's death as written in the gospels. Jesus claimed to be the truth.  Now we have two discoveries the further confirm the bible as a true and historical document.

Why Does God Allow Natural Disasters?

First I would ask the person who is asking the question if they believe in God.  Because if there is no God, you can explain any suffering as probability...this is how the world is, how the world works, accidents happens,  its natural order, and so on.  Next I would want to know what's the criteria for calling an natural event a natural disasters.  Because the vast majority of natural events do not get front page news coverage, like a hurricane that never hits land.  Now we need to know if all natural disasters are bad.  The answer is no.  Some natural disasters can have a a very positive impact on an environment like earthquakes.   Earthquakes can release an enormous amount of minerals that are a source of food and nutrition for ocean life and human life relays on some of that ocean life for food.   So what makes a natural disaster bad?  They better not say the lost of human life, if they don't believe in God.  In their worldview, what makes a human life more valuable

Evidence: The Plagues of Egypt

The Ipuwer Papyrus is a manuscript dating back to the Lower and Middle Kingdom of Egypt.   It was written by Ipuwer, who can be confirmed to have lived.   His name is mentioned on a Dynasty XIX tomb relief decoration called, Daressy fragment.   The title given to Ipuwer was “Overseer of Singers”.   That makes sense because the Ipuwer Papyrus is considered a poem/song.   It describes dark and chaotic times, in ancient Egypt, that closely resemble the Exodus of the bible.    Here are passages from Ipuwer Paprus and the Bible. 1        Ipuwer:   Lo the river is blood (p. 151) Bible: …waters in the river were turned to blood (Exodus 7:20) 2        Ipuwer: There’s blood everywhere...one…thirst for water (p. 151) Bible: …the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river (Exodus 7:24) 3        Ipuwer: Lo, trees are felled, branches stripped (p. 153) Bible: …the hail brake every tree of the field (Exodus 9

Was King David real?

Archaeological find that has King David's name.  It is considered a great discovery because outside of the bible, King David is never mentioned.  Some believed David was a mystical character and now you have this stela with an inscription that reads, "House of David". The Story

Did Jesus ever claim to be God?

Simple answer is yes. My go to verse is John 8:58.  Where Jesus says that he is the, "I AM".   Exodus 3:13-14 When God is speaking to Moses through the burning bush.  Moses ask God who shall he say sent him and God answers Moses to tell the children of Israel that, "I Am", sent him. God and Jesus call themselves the "I Am".
